Our sustainability journey

We commit ourselves and our business partners in procurement to comply with a code of conduct. In addition to our Code of Conduct, we have been a member of Sedex, a platform for increasing transparency in the supply chain, since 2016. 

DIN EN ISO 26000:2010 serves as the basis for understanding and establishing sustainability at Husarich GmbH.

Since 2022, the topic of sustainability has been coordinated by an internal sustainability committee.

In 2023, a sustainability department was established to firmly anchor the topic within the company. In the same year, we were also awarded a Silver Medal at EcoVadis for the first time, ranking us among the best 15% of companies at EcoVadis.

As part of the international group “the nature network”, which signed the United Nations Global Compact back in 2021, we at Husarich GmbH are also committed to this initiative and its goals. We support the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact and promote the Sustainable Development Goals as well as the overarching goals of the United Nations.

We reaffirm our support for this initiative as part of the commitment of MB-Holding GmbH & Co. KG. Therefore, we do not participate in activities of the UN Global Compact or activities of a Global Compact Local Network.

We took a further important step and successfully completed the mabagrown audit, allowing us to offer selected products in mabagrown quality. mabagrown is an exclusive standard by Martin Bauer that guarantees active and sustainable supply chain management while imposing the highest requirements on quality and sustainability.
